Lori Stuart, D.O., Neurologist, has been named Medical Director of West Florida Hospital’s Stroke Program. Dr. Stuart is in private practice with Emerald Coast Center for Neurological Disorders and is on the Medical Staff of West Florida Hospital.
Dr. Stuart earned her medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens where she served as Class President during her senior year. Her post-graduate training included a Residency in Neurology at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, where she was named Chief Resident. She is board certified in Neurology, and her special interests include headache, dementia, epilepsy, stroke, EMG and sleep medicine.
Prior to relocating to the Gulf Coast, Dr. Stuart was practicing in Kentucky and Louisiana. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists, the American Headache Society and the American Stroke Association.
