Leaky Bladder? Treating Urinary Incontinence

March 21, 2013

Dr. Anthony Doeer

Pensacola, FL – On Thursday, April 4, West Florida Healthcare will offer a free seminar entitled “Leaky Bladder?  Treating Urinary Incontinence.”  The seminar will be held from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the 7th Floor Auditorium at West Florida Hospital, 8383 N. Davis Highway, Pensacola.  The speaker will be urologist Anthony Doerr, M.D.

Urinary incontinence—or the loss of bladder control—is a common condition that can be embarrassing, annoying, and in some instances, activity-limiting.  There are two types of incontinence:  stress incontinence (caused by sneezing, coughing or heavy lifting) and urge incontinence (sudden urge to urinate that can’t be controlled).  At this seminar, Dr. Doerr will discuss both types of urinary incontinence and the various treatment options that are available.

The seminar is free and open to the public.  To register, call (850) 494-3212.
