West Florida Healthcare Announces 2012 Clinical Excellence Awards

Pensacola, FL - West Florida Healthcare recently awarded six health care staff members with its top clinical awards at a special reception held in May during Nurse’s Week—the 2012 Clinical Excellence Awards. The annual awards recognize exemplary nurses and support personnel that have made a difference in patient care through demonstration of clinical expertise. The theme for this year’s awards was “Nurses: Advocating, Leading, Caring.”
The winners were selected from 53 nominees in five categories: Direct Patient Care; Support; Special Clinical Support; Leadership; and the “Spirit Award”. The Spirit Award is given annually to the West Florida Healthcare nurse who best exemplifies the caring, compassionate spirit of nursing.
