Pensacola, FL – West Florida Hospital will offer a free program entitled “Lung Cancer: Diagnostic Tools and Surgical Options” on Thursday, April 11 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the hospital’s 7th Floor Auditorium located at 8383 N. Davis Highway in Pensacola. The session will be presented by cardiovascular surgeon Stephen Myers, M.D. and Chris Dorvault, M.D., radiologist.

Approximately 228,000 new cases of lung cancer will be diagnosed this year. It is by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women; each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.
The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is required. For more information or to register, call (850) 494-3212.
