Orthopedic Surgeon Joins West Florida Medical Group

Pensacola, FL – Jerome G. Enad, M.D. has joined the Medical Staff of West Florida Hospital and will practice at West Florida Medical Group’s location at 2130 East Johnson Avenue, Suite 130, Pensacola. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery with subspecialty certification in sports medicine.
Dr. Enad earned his medical degree from The F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency in orthopedics at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic, in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Enad joined the United States Navy in 1992 and served active duty for 20 years, earning the rank of Commander in 2004. For the past 13 years, Dr. Enad has practiced orthopedic surgery at military facilities in California, Virginia and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, most recently at the Naval Hospital in Camp Pendleton, California. In addition to his orthopedic practice, Dr. Enad has experience in leadership, teaching, as a scientific reviewer, and as a sports medicine consultant for a Navy SEAL team.
During his career in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Enad was the recipient of numerous awards, including the National Defense Service Ribbon, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Dr. Enad has also co-authored numerous articles in a variety of professional journals and has made many presentations at various orthopedic surgeon symposiums. He is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Othopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
