Dr. Savoie earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham where he earned the “Outstanding Student Award for Pulmonary Correlative Pathology.” Following medical school, Dr. Savoie completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where he was selected by the Anesthesiology Department to serve as Resident Representative for ACGME national review.
Dr. Savoie has been involved in various research projects and has authored a number of publications. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Medical Association.
