Frank E. Witter, MD
Dr. Witter completed his undergraduate degree in physics from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, graduating cum laude. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford where he also graduated cum laude. Dr. Witter’s post-graduate training consisted of a three-year residency in internal medicine with the Pensacola Educational Program.
In addition to private practice and teaching experience, Dr. Witter has more than 20 years of experience with the Veteran’s Administration, including 12 years as Chief Medical Officer of the Pensacola VA Outpatient Clinic. He has also served in the Veterans Health Care System in Montgomery, Alabama.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Witter has co-authored several articles that have been published in the “VA Practitioner,” a Veteran’s Administration publication. He is a Captain in the United States Naval Reserve, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
