John Meade, MD
Dr. Meade earned his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. After training in General Surgery at the University of Alabama Medical Center, also in Birmingham, Dr. Meade completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Meade has practiced Emergency Medicine in the Pensacola area for more than 20 years, in both clinical and administrative/leadership roles. He has extensive experience in emergency medicine consulting, and serves as medical director for many local EMS, police, and fire/rescue organizations. In addition, he is a quality of care reviewer for the Federal government and the states of Alabama and Florida.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, EMS, Tactical EMS and Disaster Medicine sections. He has held several leadership positions in the Florida Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Florida Medical Association and the Escambia County Medical Society.
